We at PRCC would like all members of the community to get involved in order to keep the center going
stronger than ever. This center belongs to the community and even small donations can go a long way in
an organization without large salaries or excess staff. Every dollar given goes right back into our shared
community, enriching the lives of others, thus making the area a better place to live.
Most people would give to the center simply because of the results shown by community members who visit us months and years later thanking us for changing their lives for the better. The referrals by members of the community who were helped keeps the traffic at the center very high. Our advertising comes mostly from very generous local radio and newspaper publications, but we have not had the funding to publicly outline what we do on a consistent basis. Even with minimal advertising people keep coming via word of mouth.
In order to raise more funds we have created a membership system with incentives for those that have the generosity in their hearts to give the center in order to create a better community. It’s only fair that individuals who have a vested interest in their community and donate time, money or resources have access to a better experience as well as access to the inner workings at the center.
We hope to provide a real value in giving to the center as well as open up our finances to members through an itemized annual report. The Puerto Rican Cultural Center belongs to the people it serves and we intend to use our greatest resource, the community members who believe in a better tomorrow through working together.

The events are getting bigger and better, the community continues receiving services, and our network continues to grow. With your help, we can bring positive change to our community with results which can be seen.
